Workshop. Further steps in developing Country Programme Strategy GEF

January 29, 2016 on the initiative of NGO "Noosphera" the seminar-consultation on "Review and analysis of materials for the development of indicators for the selection of landscapes for Country Strategy SGP / GEF" took place in the conference hall of the Agency for Hydrometeorology in Dushanbe. The seminar was attended by representatives of governmental and international organizations, representatives of the Rio Conventions in Tajikistan and local NGOs. Representatives of NGO "Noosphere" made presentations and reports on the analysis and review of national and international instruments, policies and programs for landscape planning. During the seminar it was discussed the choice of landscapes and key priority areas for inclusion them into the country strategies of the SGP, the participants reflected the priority landscape areas of Tajikistan on the maps, presented the recommendations and suggestions for selection landscapes, these data will be analyzed and presented at the next seminar.

Protecting national heritage of Tajikistan!

"Protecting national heritage of Tajikistan!" has been prepared in the framework of UNDP/GEF project "Conservation and sustainable use of Pamir Alay and Tien Shan ecosystems for snow leopard protection and sustainable community livelihoods" and is dedicated to the International Day of Snow Leopard, which is annualycelebrated on October 23.

The publication is intended for a wide range of readers and lovers of nature, and is intended to inform about the importance and value of conservation of the snow leopard ecosystems and its prey.
