Flora, Fauna & PAs

The electronic database represents a qualitatively new level of production, storage, organization and distribution of a wide range of information (factual and cartographic data, text, graphics, sound, photos, video, etc.). The purpose of the database on biodiversity is to collect and store information to improve the efficiency of management decision-making for conservation, through the introduction of a database that will allow to accumulate, preserve, and provide relevant information on the status of natural systems and their individual components. Also, the information system database will provide the necessary information to the state and executive power, authorized for control and monitoring in the field of environmental protection in the planning of environmental policy.

FLORA DATABASE

The database contains information on the Flora of the flora of Tajikistan on the basis of 10 volumes of Flora of the Tajik SSR. Block "Flora" is now in the stage of filling in the data. The information is structured at the level of physical and geographical landscapes. For each type you can view descriptions, as well as their search with the choice on several criteria with photos and maps.

FAUNA DATABASE

The database contains information about the fauna of the Fauna of Tajikistan based on 20 volumes of The Fauna of Tajikistan. Block "Flora" is now in the stage of filling in the data. PA DATABASE

Database contains information about protected areas of protected areas of Tajikistan. Developed database and database management system allow to solve the problem of multi-monitoring of biodiversity in protected areas, to assess the state of the territory, to solve the problems of the forecast of the dynamics of biodiversity in relation to recreational load.
